I finally got all the stories and images moved to this site. And gave all y’all a break from the rapid succession of posts (ok, I was the one getting the break). Once again I can delve into current events in Sunset Valley. When last we left the good citizens of the valley, Vlad had been promoted to level 8 in his law enforcement career; Aisha was pregnant with Cory’s baby, but Cory had died by pie; several fires had broken out at the Kassanova house; and no sim-icides had been committed in a very long time.
Vlad has since made it level 9: Triple Agent, and is just one or two days from achieving his lifetime wish of becoming an International Super Spy. Yea Vlad! Aisha gave birth to a boy, who has been named. What his name is, I can’t tell you right now (I forgot). When I gave up control of the Kassanova household in favor of returning to Vlad and helping him complete his goal, SP took over and caused Ava to become engaged to Erica Sullivan. I decided to go along with it and moved Ava into Erica’s house — after all, she only moved into the Kassanova house because she was with Heather. The fact that she stayed after Heather’s death was very generous of Annie and Cory, but a new relationship outside the house meant it was as good a time as any for her to stop mooching off the Kassanovas. Shortly after the move Ava and Erica got married. It was just announced last night that Aisha has proposed to Erica’s sister, Janna. Lovely. Glad I made her look at least a little less pudding-like when I brought her back into the game. Continue reading →
Ok. So it’s been awhile. In July I signed up for a course to help me pass the CompTIA A+ certification tests so I had to curtail my Sims 3 activity. It’s really hard to study when you’re playing computer games. Since I pre-ordered Seasons I knew I’d be back soon enough. I haven’t taken the exams yet so I probably shouldn’t be spending so much time playing games instead of studying, but I missed my sims. Maybe I’ll get back to studying before Christmas.
I actually didn’t quit playing the game until late July, leaving quite a bit that wasn’t posted here. I’ll try to get you caught up, but it’ll probably be in the form of messages sent to friends as events happened. That seems the easiest way to remember things. lol Continue reading →
So much to update you on. Hannah and Joey got a divorce. Apparently my little porn princess didn’t like her husband being the Town Gigolo. Or maybe it was all the attention he was paying to Elvira. Cough. Anyway, SP separated them. Shortly thereafter Hannah gave birth to Cody — the first ever non-vampire baby from a mixed couple! At least in my game. No idea why he didn’t get the vampire trait, but I’m not complaining. It’s nice to see that variety is possible — and I was reminded that this wasn’t the first time an occult mixed marriage had a non-occult baby. Christina Oseguera began her life as Christina Kassanova, the daughter of Lance Kassanova, a ghost, and his daughter’s friend, Sandra (Elisabeth had died, Sandra continued to live in the house). Zach has aged up to toddler and is absolutely adorable. He’ll be a heart-breaker some day. 🙂 Continue reading →
Has it been 10 days since my last report? Wow. I guess I’ve got some ground to cover. Sarah gave birth to Candace, Moe’s daughter (making her KerryAnn’s full sister). She looks positively green in her pink blankie. Vlad engaged in a little gigolo canoodling with KerryAnn (she’s working for her son now) and they have another child on the way. Joey is getting his first full brother or sister at approximately the same time that his own first born will be born. Yes, that’s right, Joey and Hannah are expecting, which prompted them to rush to the alter (this was not the work of StoryProgression). It remains to be seen if Hannah will be ok with his avocation. Given her career, though, she really isn’t in a position to complain about his activities — as long as he takes appropriate precautions. 🙂 The last noteworthy birth is that of Toby Hayes, the son of Hannibal Hayes (Hannah’s twin) and Ebony Huffman. Toby is already in those precious, precocious toddler days. Continue reading →
At some point last week I decided that I didn’t like the way the game was going. Too many deaths. Too many shotgun weddings. Everything was moving too fast and going in weird directions. So I went back to the unpopulated SV2E and began the re-population process all over.
Here’s where we are now:
When the game started rolling SP chose Vlad to be the Lestat. I tried it, I didn’t like it, he’s the Dracul again. I reassigned Moe to the Lestat role. SP had assigned Moe as the Gigolo, again, not my first choice but one I could live with. However when he returned to his post as the Lestat, SP stepped in and made Joey the Gigolo. The first time around in this town SP never assigned a Nosferatu, so I stepped in and gave it back to Elvira. This morning Vlad was recruited into the ranks of that clan, while Sarah and Logan (her son) have joined Moe in the Lestat organization. Continue reading →
