I was gonna write this about finding Vlad’s grandson, Steven, hanging out at city hall with Elvira — and seeing her grab his arm and turn him into a vampire — and wishing I’d had the camera rolling. That makes the third time in about a week that she’s turned some sweet innocent local into a blood thirsty vampire. The first was a dude by the name of Roland Cryer. I don’t even remember when, where, why, or how he came into the game, so no big deal there.
Remember back here where I told you about new coworkers moving in on my families? Remember how I was trying to decide what to do with the family that had been recklessly placed in harm’s way at Elvira’s house? I discovered that the father had been given a job with The Family and might actually have been a coworker for Joey — who’s been sitting alone at the bistro for years — so I let them stay. And I thought it would be interesting to see if they fared even half as well as Justin DiNapoli, a young man El took in when his father died. Continue reading
This afternoon I was notified that some strange woman had moved in with a happily married man in SV2E — he is a Schlick, but it was still weird since there hasn’t been any indication that he’d been stepping out on his wife. (Hard to believe, I know, but Cody always was a good kid.) When I took a peek at his house, it was surrounded by unfamiliar map tag faces — and the female in question turned out to be a teen. The others were her parents and siblings. I checked the household map tag and sure enough, all 6 had moved in on my little family of 4. It’s only a 2 bedroom house, IIRC. Maybe 3 if I saved it after the addition was built.
Actually a few things got finished off today & tonight. Adam’s icky wife Holly finally kicked the bucket so my Casanova could be free to play the field again. Hannah completed the Experienced challenge in Kama Simtra and boy was she tired. She had to woohoo 16 times in 6 different locations to finish up and earn the title — but she did it — and it only took about a day and a half. Then for giggles and grins she woohooed once or twice with both Vlad and Adam for old time’s sake. And just as I’d secretly hoped, all that physical exertion proved to be too much for the old girl. So I get this popup — Joey Schlick has gotten a divorce, do I want to change his last name? Excuse me??? That marriage has been protected since forever! I thought for sure I had checked on that little detail when the new phase of StoryProgression dropped some of my settings. Then, while dealing with the name change popups (got one for Hannah, too), a notice pops up with Joey declaring his undying animosity toward Sergei! Ok… what’s up with that? Then another notice pops up with Carol Brady saying how much she loves the taste of Joey’s pale skin and the feel of his breath upon her neck! It would seem Joey hates Sergei for stealing his mistress, who he then dumped his wife for and has promptly stolen away from his little brother……. or something. LMAO
